Companies typically define a quality product as one which meets its requirements and satisfies the end user. To meet this objective, business leaders create culture where quality is viewed as everyone’s responsibility. Unfortunately, measurement of success can be somewhat vague due to the inability to treat quality in the same terms as schedule and cost (subjective versus quantitative).
This topic will address some common methodologies of assessing quality both internally (pre-implementation) and externally (post-implementation). Presentation materials will include thoughts on the management of testing defect tickets, different methods to obtain pre- and post-implementation customer feedback, and how to obtain trend analysis and / or a consolidated metric in order to treat quality as a quantitative measurement.
